HOUSTON (Dec. 24, 2025) –Why wait for midnight when you can rock into the New Year before nap time? Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center and Children’s Museum Houston are turning Noon into Midnight as our most anticipated New Year’s bash returns:  Rockin’ New Year’s Noon, the longest-running kids’ New Year celebration in Houston!  Countdown, confetti, ball drops, music, magic, and memory-making!
 
Skip the yawns, keep the fun. Whether you're popping into Houston or partying in Fort Bend, we’re rolling into 2026 with glitter, giggles, and good vibes.  Kid-approved and parent-friendly.  Ring in 2026 without staying up late!

ROCKIN’ NEW YEAR’S NOON AT CHILDREN’S MUSEUM HOUSTON
Dec. 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Countdown to NOON — Times Square style, toddler bedtime-friendly edition.
OPEN Mondays, Dec. 29 and Jan. 5
OPEN New Year’s Day, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Free Family Night Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m.)
 
Start the celebration early and dance 'til the ball drops! Live performers, music pumping, crafts buzzing.  The energy will be as high as the confetti in the Allen Family Courtyard.
 
Roving and Pre-Show Entertainment

• Juggler Noah: roaming 9:30 to 10:35 a.m.
• DJ Ferbidden: 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
