Board Member Sam Golden welcomes Youth in Philanthropy as they volunteer to help the Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center with the annual Lunar New Year Bash. 

Golden gave an inspirational speech to the young philanthropists discussing the topic of volunteerism, giving back to the community and improving your world. 

The Youth in Philanthropy helped the Discovery Center's guest make leis, dragon flags and paper lanterns. The group volunteers with the Discovery Center's outreach program throughout the year and helps with many events. 

Youth in Philanthropy is a Fort Bend County local group organized by The George Foundation. The program's mission is to shape the leaders of tomorrow while providing high school students with volunteer opportunities.
