SUGAR LAND, TX (June 5, 2026) — Fort Bend-area philanthropy was dressed to the nines as fashionable guests gathered in their finest hats, gloves, and springtime flair for the
21st Annual Hats, Gloves and Boutonnieres Fort Bend Spring Brunch benefiting Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center. Hosted at the beautiful Sweetwater home of Tammy Janos on April 14, this year’s cherished tradition welcomed approximately
175 guests and
raised a record-setting $63,980. The highest amount ever raised in the event’s 21-year history!
Chaired by Leah Henley, Tammy Janos, and Jessica McCauley, the elegant affair blended sophistication, heartfelt community support, and plenty of personality as guests gathered for a morning of gourmet bites, lively conversation, and timeless style, all benefiting children and families across Fort Bend County.

This record-breaking year is a testament to the extraordinary generosity and spirit of Fort Bend County, and we are beyond grateful for everyone who helped make this event such a stunning success.”
Guests were treated to an exquisite brunch experience catered by acclaimed chef Soren Pederson, while delicious favors from Nothing Bundt Cakes gave attendees something sweet to take home long after the final toast.
For 21 years, the Hats, Gloves and Boutonnieres Fort Bend Brunch has remained a picture-perfect tradition, proving year after year a little charm, a lot of heart, and a fabulous hat can go a very long way. From bold fascinators to classic boutonnieres, the event once again proved generosity never goes out of fashion.
The event’s record-setting success was made possible through the support of generous sponsors and community champions, including Charlene Pate, Adriana Kardoush, Land Rover Southwest, Manmeet Likhari, Valerie and Sam Golden, Dawn Golden Brulé, Sepi Hadi, Lynn Halford, Chamberlain Hrdlicka and Jackie Bergdoll.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center – A Very Special Project of Children's Museum Houston, helping provide access to hands-on educational exhibits, innovative programming, and meaningful learning experiences for children and families throughout the region.
