Spring Break Blast, a high-energy celebration packed with daily performances, pop-culture parties, hands-on learning, and jaw-dropping moments kids (and parents) won’t stop talking about!

March 14 to 22 in Sugar Land, Spring Break Blast transforms every day off into a full-blown day of “WOW,” where curiosity runs wild, creativity takes center stage and learning sneaks in through laughter! Because one amazing museum experience is great… but two? That’s a total blast!

Spring Break Blast bursting with meet-and-greets, live shows, and themed adventures designed to dazzle little learners and ignite big imaginations!
EVENT LINEUP:
- Saturday, March 14 – Pi Day!: Math meets merriment in a celebration as infinite as Pi spotlighting Mad About Hoops.
- Sunday, March 15 – Festival of Colors (Holi): Hands-on art, vibrant traditions, and cultural Indian discovery including Gulal Color Throw, Hindus of Greater Houston and T2 Dance Company Bollywood and bhangra showdown!
- Monday, March 16 – Super MAR10 Mania: Game truck and photo ops with Mario, Luigi and Bowser inspired straight from the Mushroom Kingdom.
- Tuesday, March 17 – Bear in the Air: Meet-and-greet with Cheer Bear and Share Bear, plus make your own Care Bear stuffy!
- Wednesday, March 18 – Under the Big Top: A circus-style show featuring Cirque La Vie, Mad About Hoops, face painting fun, balloon artists and more!
- Thursday, March 19 – Paw-some Patrol Party!: Paw Patrol meet-and-greet, stuffed animal workshops in celebration of the upcoming movie.
- Friday, March 20 – Animal Adventures: Live animal shows and interactive petting zoo experiences.
- Saturday, March 21 – POP! feat. K-Pop Demon Hunters sponsored by Caldwell & Steinbring Dentistry for Chidren: Texas Bubblers, K-pop fun, sing-alongs, crafts, and meet-and-greets inspired by K-Pop Demon Hunters!
- Sunday, March 22 – So Long, Spring Break Party!: A live DJ, game truck, balloon artist and a farewell confetti celebration!

Hold onto your hats and buckle up! Children’s Museum Houston is unleashing two explosive weeks of nonstop fun. With daily themed adventures, live performances, science spectacles, and signature events,
Spring Break Blast is more of a “playcation!”
- The beat never quits! Step onto our interactive, Light Up Dance Floor and bust a move from the first day of Spring Break to the grand finale.
- Dance it out as music pumps and confetti fills the air during our Confetti Blast Party at 1 p.m., March 8 to 15.
- Bounce, tumble, and race your way in Human Hamster Balls, March 8 to 15.
- Soar with high-energy Bungee Trampolines which let you jump, flip, and defy gravity, March 12 to 14!
SPECIAL THEMED DAYS:
- Saturday, March 7 – Giddy Up! Rodeo Day sponsored by Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo: Texas pride, Museum-style featuring trick roper, cowboy magic and live animal petting zoo!
- Sunday, March 8 – Festival of Colors (Holi): – Art, dance, and cultural celebration of India, including Gulal Color Throw, Silambam Houston Dance, Hindus of Greater Houston, T2 Dance Company Bollywood and bhangra and Ghoomar Dance Academy folk dances.
- Monday, March 9 – Enchanted Adventures: Princesses, Dragon’s Beard candy, puppets and dungeons show and knights in full steel combat. Oh, my!
- Tuesday, March 10 – Super MAR10 Mania: Mario-inspired meet-and-greets with Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Rosalina, party with Bowser, game truck, and Mushroom Kingdom fun.
- Wednesday, March 11 – Glow Up!: Neon colors and glow-in-the-dark stick figures will illuminate brightly under UV black lights for a day of partying featuring Mad About Hoops, Intempo Dance and tie dye workshops.
- Thursday, March 12 – POP Day! Feat. K-Pop Demon Hunters: K-Pop culture with K-Pop Demon Hunters-inspired sing-along, Texas Bubblers, Boba workshops, and yes, karaoke!
- Friday, March 13 – Friday the 13th: Frightfully fun adventure featuring science of fear, DJ Beetlejuice, Jack Skellington, face painters, and spinetingling excitement!
Saturday, March 14 - 21st Annual Pi Day sponsored by ConocoPhillips: The event that helped spark the global Pi Day phenomenon returns with the legendary Shaving Cream Pi(e) Fight, shutting down the street at 1:59 p.m. (because 3.14159). Math has never been messier or more fun! Add in Xtreme Science Demos, Mentos Geysers and Mad About Hoops, and you’ve got a celebration of Einstein’s birthday which truly adds up!
- Sunday, March 15 – Rock the Block Party: Impressive LEGO displays along with DJ Tyler will welcome a day of block themed activities including Jenga, Pixel Art, LEGO vehicles, and giant building blue blocks!
- Thursday, March 19 - POP Day! Feat. K-Pop Demon Hunters sponsored by Shriners Children’s™ Texas: The K-Pop Demon Hunters return for another action-packed adventure of sing alongs, stuffie workshops, popping boba, Texas Bubblers performance and… karaoke!
- Saturday, March 21 - Cuddly Creatures: Animal-filled fun for curious explorers includes a petting zoo, story times with live animal encounters, animal thermoplastics and more!
