
India knows how to celebrate! Come and experience the culturally rich, Indian celebration of spring, Holi! You'll be charmed by these fun hands-on activities where you can create colorful, traditional Indian arts and crafts as well as watch a traditional Indian dance.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
Hindus of Greater Houston: Join Hindus of Greater Houston for a vibrant Holi celebration with fun activities for kids to learn about the festival and special bags of colorful powder to take home!
When: From 9 am to 2 pm in TBD
Holi Craft Workshop: Create an assortment of vibrant, Holi-themed crafts as you celebrate the holiday of color and joy.
Limit 12 participants ages 3+, sign ups open one hour prior to each workshop.
When: At the top of every hour from 10 am to 2 pm in Art Academy
T2 Dance Company: T2 Dance Company delivers an interactive Bollywood and bhangra dance experience that invites audiences to move and dance along!
When: At 10 am in Kidtropolis Town Central
Gulal Color Throw: Dive into the joyous tradition of Holi by playfully throwing bright, colorful powders and celebrating the festival of colors!
Limit 12 particiapnts ages 4+ (ages 4-5 must have an adult enter with them). Parents must sign waiver for each child. Sign ups open one hour prior to start time

Rainbow Cloud: Create a moveable paper craft that opens and closes to reveal a rainbow behind the cloud.

Rainbow Milk: Explore colorful chemistry by mixing milk, soap, and food coloring to create a mesmerizing display of swirling rainbow patterns!
