The discovery center supports local charities
The Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center is proud to support local non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) tax status and other approved organizations in their fundraising efforts through donation requests.
Donation requests are only considered from organizations holding a raffle or auction, not as gifts/incentives for employees or students.
The Discovery Center’s standard donation is four (4) complimentary admission passes, valued at $48.00.
Monetary gifts are not donated and organizations are only eligible for one donation per calendar year.
Please keep in mind that while each request receives careful consideration by our Business Development department, we regret that we are unable to accommodate all requests. Donation requests must be submitted at least two months in advance and will be processed when time permits.
Who is eligible for a donation?
- Preschools, kindergartens, elementary schools or their associated PTAs
- Non-profit organizations in the Fort Bend area and the surrounding towns that work with children
- Organization that most closely complement the mission and vision of the Discovery Center
- Other organizations may be considered on a case by case basis, however priority will be given to those which meet the above criteria
Who is NOT eligible for a donation?
- Out of state organizations
- Middle schools and high schools
- For-Profit companies
- Individuals and families
