Since opening our doors in May 2016, we have been committed to instilling a life-long love of learning in Fort Bend County’s children and encouraging parents and caregivers to understand their role as their children’s first teachers. Since last year we welcomed 81,465 visitors onsite and an additional 27,275 children and families with our free outreach programs facilitated at 41 locations in low-income communities throughout Fort Bend County and its surrounding areas. While this year has certainly been challenging for us all, the continued support of our community has fueled us to work even harder to serve families in Fort Bend – in even more unique and innovative ways. With the recent launch of our All-Time Access virtual programming, we are bringing the Museum to children where they are now – at home and at school – at no cost. We are engaging children in project-based activities that supplement and support school-based instruction and provide parents with opportunities to take part in parent engagement and family learning programs. This work is continuing because of your generosity.
